Publify is a user-friendly, secure and proven web platform for public organizations. The platform is based on the Umbraco CMS, and adds a number of special functions to Umbraco that a public organization typically needs in relation to digital communication and service.

Challenge

In recent years, public organizations have experienced increasing demands for digitization of the services that the municipalities offer citizens and other stakeholders. At the same time, the organizations are faced with budget cuts and demands for savings, which means that there are fewer funds for digital communication and service. In other words, the organizations' web solutions must be bigger, better and cheaper.

Solution

Kruso has created the municipality platform Publify, based on the user-friendly CMS, Umbraco.

Publify is a standard solution that includes the most important components for a municipal website. At the same time, Publify gives each municipality the opportunity to have customized individual functions and a unique design that supports the municipality's identity. In addition, the municipality can develop new modules and features for the platform jointly with other Publify municipalities, and in this way the expenses for ongoing development of the municipality's web solution are shared. Kruso facilities the joint development.

Web accessibility is built into Publify by default. The same applies to sustainability, so that the environmental footprint of a Publify municipality's web solution is as light as possible.

And when it comes to security, Publify is coded to the latest standards. With the purchase of a fixed upgrade agreement, the Publify municipalities also avoid unpleasant surprises, both when it comes to security and finances, since the solution will thus always be upgraded to the latest version of Umbraco.

In connection with Publify, Kruso has established a customer community where the Publify municipalities can share knowledge and experience with the Publify platform as well as digital communication and service in a municipal context. The customer community meets both physically and at online meetings, just as Kruso provides an online forum for the Publify municipalities, which makes it possible to retrieve and share knowledge 24/7.
