Three sites - one solution. Invest In Denmark, The Trade Council, and Denmark.dk.
The Trade Council is a part of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Council helps private companies with export, innovation, internationalization, and investments. Invest In Denmark is a part of The Trade Council and the national investment enhancing organization of Denmark working on attracting foreign investments and companies to Denmark. Denmark.dk is the official Danish website and brand. Denmark.dk is also run under um.dk and is Denmarks official brand site.
Both The Trade Council, Denmark.dk and Invest in Denmark wanted an upgrade of their websites to a modern design with more possibilities and a digitalization of their customer-related communication. A wish to create synergy across the individually strong brands and platforms with the option of creating more focused, measurable, and lead-generating marketing. All three sites also had several individual requests and wishes such as the option to create article landingpages as long reads with flexible content blocks such as text, pictures, videos, quotes, carousels, fact boxes, and much more along with the option of a more modern, experience-oriented navigation based on dynamic lists controlled by keywords connecting related content together.
Kruso came up with one solution for all sites developed in Sitecore. The solution is based on Sitecore’s recommended design principles, Helix. With an agile and proactive process, Kruso made a consolidated and scalable solution with plenty of opportunities for more sites, more features, and new skins. The new sites are based on a taxonomy engine highlighting the newest and most relevant content. The sites are built modular with different functionalities. This way the layout options are still flexible, but they are kept in the right colors and set-up. Further, a help site was made in a way that it documents itself through the different modules which ensures better usability for the editors of the different sites.
The result is one consolidated and flexible solution allowing each site the individual functions from the other sites. Also, a solid foundation for creating new sites is made, making it very easy and fast to create new sites based on the same basic principles. This means freedom and money saved in further digital work. This solution was made possible by a solution-oriented and flexible approach with a close continuous co-operation.
We are pleased with the part of the solution already implemented, which definitely meet our expectations.
